Assembly and Sacraments

Assembly 

Monthly Assembly, highlights the individual and collective achievements of the students, provides an opportunity to celebrate birthdays, and allows meaningful time together to keep afoot of the numerous things going on in the school community.
This is a joyful time of singing, listening and presenting of schoolwork that brings together staff, parents and children.

All parents are invited to the Assembly of their children, which takes place on the last Wednesday of each month. Each assembly gives the opportunity to 2 classes to present themselves to parents and guardians. 
We'd love to see you there!

Harvest Time

Pupils from different classes were asked to help out in a special way this year by creating a harvest table in our school. Students brought in items to give to those who are not as fortunate to show their appreciation for all the things we receive from nature at this time of year. At the end of the week, these items were donated to a local charity in Cork.

Christmas

St Patrick's Day

All classes had a fantastic time in school celebrating St Patrick's day. Pupils dressed up in green to and participated in a march around the yard singing along to different Irish tunes.

The Sacraments

We provide First Holy Communion and Confirmation preparation classes for children of the Roman Catholic faith. Staff work closely with the local Parish Council to ensure those who wish to complete their sacraments are able to.
Please inform the school office immediately if you wish for your child to be prepared for First Holy Communion or Confirmation. Preparation for these Sacraments will take place after school with staff. Further information will follow in due course regarding class times for sacramental preparation.
